    Hi,

I would like to use Franklim Gothic and other Google Fonts that are not listed in Typography customization section.
    How can I do it?

Also, where do I create an additional sidebar for pages?

    Thank you

    Hi jose,

All Google Fonts should be available in Appearance > Customize > Typography. You can use 'Websafe Fonts' for Franklin Gothic.
Creating sidebars can be done via Theme Options > Sidebar

    Thanks!

    Hi mainmairel,

    Thanks for the reply.

I only have a few options to choose from if I select websafe fonts, and franklin gothic is not one of them. Any of franklin gothic fonts. I need franklin gothic book http://www.cufonfonts.com/pt/font/12052/franklin-gothic-book and Euphemia http://fontzone.net/font-details/euphemia

Regarding the sidebar, I don't have the sidebar option on Theme Options, only this: http://clip2net.com/s/3s1rMUz

Can you please have a look in my backoffice? How could I share the details with you?

    Thanks

    Hi jose,

I looked again and it seems franklin gothic is not a websafe font. Franklin gothic medium is a websafe font: http://www.cssfontstack.com/
Both fonts you pointed out are custom fonts and unfortunately the theme does not support adding custom fonts yet.

Widget areas, not sidebar sorry :) Just add a widget area there and you'll have more sidebar options.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I don´t have Franklin gothic medium in websafe fonts either. And there's other fonts that are on Google Fonts but are not available in Customize typography options.
Do you have a list of fonts that are really available anywhere? I'm doing this for a friend and can´t ask her to choose a font from google fonts because not all the fonts are avilable :(

    thank you

The fonts are directly pulled from Google Fonts service, so every font they have available for embedding should be available in the list.
Which google font is it that you need?

    Thank you!

    Hi maimairel,

I was thinking about these variations og franklim gothic: http://clip2net.com/s/3sggfpS.
Another question: we'll need english and russian languages on the website but on google fonts not only fonts have cyrilic scipt. Is there any way to surpass this?

    Thank you and Happy Hollidays!

    Hi jose,

Those are fonts not hosted by google. If you click on the links, they will open up on fonts.com, where you have to purchase the fonts first.

As for the character set, it's the font you're using that doesn't have the russian characters. We can't do anything about that as it's provided by Google.
If you choose for example, open sans then you will see the available variations.

Thank you and a happy new year :)
