    Hi, very pleased with this theme, it looks very elegant - thank you.

    Ideally I want to use the front page for latest posts but I dont want the post title, the "Read Now " button or the "posted in" elements to appear. Can you supply some CSS for that to be possible please? Thanks, Neil

    Hello Neil,

    So what do you want to be visible on the frontpage? Only the image and post content text?

    Thanks!

    Yes, that would be ideal. Basically I like the full width image that a featured image provides but without all the post information and functionality that goes with it. Thanks

    Then you have a gallery instead of a blog, actually you can do this by using custom CSS:
    Code (CSS):
    .post-header, .post-body { display: none; }

    Thanks but the parts I don't want to display are still displayed.

    I don't want the "posted in" and category name visible on the slider image, nor the "Read Now" button

    Oh you mean the text on the slider and not the blog posts?
    Code (CSS):
    .featured-posts-slide-content { display: none; }
    Thank you!

    Just chiming in -- how can we edit "read now" to something else?

    Hi Betsey,

    Yes, that is also possible but you will lose your changes when updating the theme :)

    I put in both of these shortcodes and the "Read Now" button is still showing on my home page. My custom CSS coding looks like this:

    .post-header, .post-body { display: none; }
    .featured-posts-slide-content { display: none; }
    .featured-entries-slider { border-bottom: 16px solid #d2b48c; }

    body {
    font-size: 17px; /* Size of Font */
    line-height: 25px; /* Line Height of Font */
    }

    Am I missing something? I don't want to make changes to slider.php and lose them when I update the theme. Thanks!

    Never mind. I just figured it out. I simply put in the following piece of code:

    .featured-entry-read-more { display: none; }

    Worked like a charm! Thanks for making this beautiful, elegant theme!
